Down on the Farm
This tablescape is dedicated to all the farmers both here in Germany and in the Untited States….
When I was a little kid growing up in Pontiac Illinois, my parents owned and ran the famous Downtowner Motel in the heart of Pontiac. We would get all types of guests, from people on business to families in town for a wedding and everything in between. Salesmen of all trades often stayed with us and sometimes they left gifts for us. Which is how we got some really cool tractors!!! I could play for hours with the tractors as did my son many moons later. When it came time to leave the motel I asked my mom if I could have the tractors..and in the suitcase they went. Now years later, these tractors are the inspiration for my tablescape.
I really love the crystal ball my son received for Christmas last year. We are both having fun learning to take pictures with the crystal ball.
These chicken napkin rings have been in my Tablescaping Decor Closet for like for ever. I bought them in Cloppenburg for next to nothing and now I finally had a tablescape idea where they worked perfectly.
The Tablecloth? A fake grass carpet that I bought at Action Mart for under 4 euros! (Spoiler Alert: there is a soccer tablescape in the works!)
I bought the Farmhouse Cookie Jar in Pontiac at Harners Gift Shop! The store is not there anymore, but I have fond memories of that store…
I dug into my son´s childhood toy boxes to find our farm animals and the horses are on loan from my great nephew Jacob.
Happy Tablescaping Everyone. Be sure to stop by later this week for another new tablescape design

I absolutely love your table! I grew up on a tobacco and cattle farm in North Carolina. It brings back so many childhood memories.

Love the tablescape especially knowing about the childhood memories you have of the tractors.
