It is hard to belive that fall is already upon us. My mom used to say that time was flying by and I would think to myself, is she crazy? And yet here I am 50 years old and I sound just like my mom…..time sure is flying by!
FALL BLOG HOP!
Always happy to hear from Chloe that it is time to go blog hopping….Very gratefull to her for organizing this…. I have so enjoyed the other blog hops and all the tablescapes! Here is my take on fall….
Usually I try to buy fresh flowers, but when I am in a pinch, I rely on my collection of silk flowers.
(Oh so many addictions I have!)
The small leaf plates were bought at Nanu-Nana years ago.
Yet another addiction….candle stick holders!
The far left is Waterford (a gift from Irish Friends)
and the middle one is Nachtman (a gift from my mom).
The plates once belonged to my husband’s grandmother….I know, I drive him crazy with all my dishes, but I just had to keep this set.
Every good german housewife has to have a collection of colored wine glasses! LOL! Most of my collection comes from finds on eBay, but I am also lucky enough to have a few of my mom’s collection.
Hope you enjoyed your visit! Please do stop by again.

Yay! I see I can now leave a comment on this fantastic tablescape! Love the location with all the books behind – so inviting and inspiring at the same time. And the pretty fall colours you’ve chosen for your table go perfectly in the room. Terrific dishware, stemware and accessories make this a marvelous fall tablescape and one I’d love to pull up a chair to!

First let me say how much I love the entire room! The bookshelves and ladder, and the huge window with a woodsy view! Gorgeous! The perfect setting for such a pretty table. It brings in all the elements of autumn with those rich autumn colours. Love the stemware! My husband can relate to yours…..I have stacks of plates everywhere, but In my defence I do use them all!!
