Happy New Year! And Welcome to the 2023 Edition of Supper Table Talk.
I keep saying, would someone please just push the pause button…time is going to fast. My family and I enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful Christmas and New Years. It was simply awesome to just sit back and relax, I do believe I lived a week in my pjs. LOL. But now it is already the 5th of January and I go back to work tomorrow. I am by far not ready to jump back on the hamster wheel, but if I want to continue my blog, my hobbies, my garden and all that jazz, I need to go to work. Thankfully, I love my job. I get to bake cakes and cookies, so for me it is the perfect job.
I welcome you to sit back and enjoy my 2022 New Years Eve Tablescape. As I often do, I worked with black and gold colors again. I love the contrast between the two colors. To spice it up just a bit I added red champagne glasses to the table. The red gave it just the added kick! The black wine glasses are really only for show. I spray painted cheap wine glasses from good will and did not do the best job, so I really would not suggest drinking out of them. But they sure look cool. The streamers, ballons and hats all come from LIDL, the grocery store. Germans are very serious about their New Years Eve, so you can find decorations everywhere.
