Happy Valentines DAy 2018
I have to admit something…..valentines day is my least favorite holiday. It is, it really is! All that forced lovey, dovey crap…NOt my world. BUT, I do truly love to set a Valentines Day Table. The colors…reds-whites-pinks, I really like the way the colors all come together. So please do take a moment grab your cup of coffee and enjoy this year´s Valentines Day Tablescape!
Once again, my usual go to center piece, is the hightlight of the table. It really was meant just for Christmas-four candles and meant to be put away after the holidays. For some reason I started using this item in more than just Christmas Tablescapes. I purchased this set years ago at Depot.
The red wine glasses I aquired through ebay classifieds.…. Just about a year ago to the date. One more morning I just typed in red stemware into the search window on ebay classifieds and struck gold!
Do you see the table runner? My sister´s mother in law Oma Veldtrup made that. And I was lucky enough to be the one to inherit it! I treasure all my tablecloths/runners, but the ones that came from the Omas…well those are worth more than a mega win in the lottery to me.
My addiction to mini cake stands, well that all started when my sister Heidi in Chicago sent me a set…ever since then when I see them in a store, somehow they just jump into my shopping cart! I do not know how!!!
A big shout out to my Cricut Explore Air Machine-the hearts on the plates were made with the machine. I have had the machine now for a few years, but thanks to facebook groups that I am in, I am learning and using my cricut so much more these days. The Pink plates you see? I found those awhile go at—you guessed it Depot the outlet store in Cloppenburg (my second home town)
Wishing all of you a happy day! As always, I am posting to Tablescape THursday! Be sure to check out all the wonderful tablescapes!

Just the right kind of Valentine’s atmosphere! Love all the candlelight and the elegant stemware. The table runner steals the show! How lucky you are to have a work of art for your table.
