Twas the night before Christmas….. Is it really that time of year again? As we come to the end of 2017, I find myself wondering what the new year will bring. Will it be “MY YEAr?” Will it be a year filled with joy and laughter or will we find ourselves struggling to survive. My hope of course is that 2018 will be amazing, a year filled with everything that is good and of course a year filled with beautiful tablescapes.
I know we are all busy this holiday season, but do take a moment and enjoy my Chirstmas Tablescape…
Originally I had little santas hanging from the dining room lamp, but thankfully my sister suggested Christmas bulbs would be better. She was so right, the Christmas Bulbs are way more elegant!
I love my Santa Chair Covers……all 5 of them! I am still looking for the 6th one…..so please forgive that one chair does not have a santa hat. Prehaps the 6th chair cover is still with Santa at the North Pole?
I bought the Snowman Votive at Action Markt. My all time favorite store. So happy that Action has finally made it to Berlin.
THis is one of my favorite pictures. We always try to take one picture at this angle. The red charger plates were bought at Nanu Nana and the white dinner plates are my “good dishes”(wedding gift…Rosenthal Dishware). The green napkins come from Butlers and the red stemware comes from Strauss Inovation.
When my mom and dad traveled, they always brought us back something special from the country they had visited. These “matryoshka”, stacking Dolls were bought on their russian river cruise trip.
My “photographer/camerman” Son was the creative force behind this photo shoot. We both love the photo of the santa chair covers.
See the table runner? I was at the fabric store…looking for fabric with ice cream cones on it, and I just happened to find this material and of course I could not leave it! Thanks to my new serger, within minutes a table runner was ready!
Supper Table TAlk wishes everyone a peaceful, happy, relaxing Christmas. See you all next week when I will show you how are table will look for New Years Eve.
