Halloween……

I checked the claender today, I have now been living in Germany for 28 Years!!!!!!!!!!!! 28 Years ago, the germans looked at me as if I was from Mars when I talked about Halloween. You should have seen their faces when I started hanging up ghosts and bats and spiders they simply did not understand!

Even though, I will not be decorating this year for Halloween(we will be on vacation), I still do enjoy setting the table in honor of my favorite holiday.

Dishes are from Ikea Napkins were bought at Butlers Napkin Rings were bought in Munich in a discount jewelry store(these rings are actually for your hair, but I just loved the green and was inspired for Halloween)

Orange tablecloth is actullay just orange material I bought at Ikea Green Plates were bought at Porta Furniture Store(with my first tip money) Wine Glasses are from the Nachtmann Company and were a gift from friends)

A few weeks ago, I was at Tj Maxx in Potsdam and found these three witches…..my newest Halloween decoration-well for this tablescape that is! I gave the “girls” to my sister as a gift.

I realy do love the color palate Halloween offers us.

Stop….in the name of Halloween!

The Hokaido Pumpkin……..after serving its purpose as an important part of this tablescape, it will be transformed into a delicious pot of pumpkin soup
