Happy Advent Season 2020…… we are living in a pandemic world and struggling to find the Christmas Spirit. Here in Germany the Christmas Markets are not allowed to open, nor do we have snow. As in much of the rest of the world, getting together for holiday parties is also on the “naughty list.” The restrictions did not stop me from decorating and so with this post I am sharing with you parts of our house. Some may say I go to far, but I love it!

Every kitchen needs a christmas tree, don´t you agree? And look there is even the first gift under the tree.. Thank you to my running buddy Sheldon and his wife Claudia for the handmade soaps.. Love them
The arch is the perfect spot for some green and special ornaments. My son made them when he was in third and 4th grade.
In 1996 my mom and aunt came to visit and along with my husband and little boy we traveled to the south of germany to visit the Nachtman Crystal Factory and of course shop! This were my crystal advent wreath comes from.The table cloth was one of my one and only cross stich projects that i actually completed

I do not have the traditional advent wreath, but I do have and advent candle set up in my kitchen as well as my living room….. This set comes from my girlfriends in Cloppenburg
