today we start out at the top of the stairs with our stockings and I will close this post with a picture of our nativity scene. Happy Friday Everyone and happy 3rd of Advent. I will be running a nice 14k with my running buddy, what will you be up to?
Although we have a fire place… we have no mantel, so this turned out to be the best place to hang the stockings. The Reindeer Stocking Holders were at TK MAxx find and the christmas tree was a gift from my friend Liz
This year I added some fancy bows to the staircase decor… I love how it makes the whole display just pop!
in the backround you see all our family and friends pictures…… still one of my favorite things in this house
Our Nutcracker Trio…. The Illini Nutcracker was a gift from my son and the Cubbies Nutrcracker was a gift from me to him. I am wondering if he will want to put that in his apartment..hmm?
Edeltanne Immergrün, wir Bürsten wie die Fürsten! Not kidding I found this christmas tree toliet bowl. cleaner about 28 years ago in a german gift shop for 10 marks. THere was no way I was leaving that at the store….. May the lord help me, if anyone in this house ever “uses” it!Of course the towels are christmas colors! The towel rack comes from my parents Motel… Love that I have one in my home
This wooden christmas tree was a gift from a our former land lord Berni Käter. I treasure it as it always reminds me of the special time when we lived in the apartment above the Käter Family
My mother started me on this set… Josef, Mary, and baby Jesus. Over the years I have added a few pieces.
You’re an amazing decorator! Love that you have so many special decorations! All of my special ones are still in the US, because we were only going to live here 2 years, tops! Now it’s 14 years later…
