Happy Tablescape Thursday Everyone…….
todays post is from a Valentine’s Day Table that I decorated last year. Enjoy……
Happy Thursday morning Everyone.. and Happy Ground Hog Day! I had to chuckle this morning….I was in the car on the way home from my early swim when the radio announcer mentioned that today is Ground Hog Day in America (I live in Germany, so you can imagine my surprise). Here I am living in Germany and it takes a German radio announcer to remind me that today is Ground Hog Day!!! Since there is 6 hour time difference, I will have to wait a few hours to see what the ground hog will tell us. I am seriously hoping that winter is on its way out…. I am done with it! As I am sure all of you are too!
Now, many of you know, that I am not the big Valentine’s Day Fan…..too much sapiness for me, but I do love setting a Valentine’s Day Tablescape!
Happy Friday Everyone,
todays tablescape was one I threw together for New Year’s Eve…..
Even though we did not have a large celebration, I just could not resist creating just one more gold table. My favorite part of my holiday tables are all the bulbs I can use…..I do believe I have just about every color there is!
Happy Weekend Everyone

Color of the Year 2017 is PANTONE…..a pretty shade of green!!
You betcha…this inspired me to create a tablescape with green being the primary color! How lucky am I, that I just happen to have a beautiful green tablecloth and of course my lovely green dishes.
Hope Everyone is having a great Wednesday Evening……..

It is snowing in Kleinmachnow…..yes we are finally getting some snow. Now for my fellow germans, we got a lot of snow, but for this Illinois Girl it was a nice start…but by far not enough!!!!!
On days like this, I tend to sit at my desk and surf the web…….Facebook, PeopleMag, Yahoo News and of course Pinterest! Everytime I open Pinterest, I find so many ideas that I want to try out……just not enough time in a day. Recently I stumbled on Arhaus.com…..wow what cool a site. Seeing as tablescapes are my thing, I of course checked out their dining room tables and dishes and stemware.. all the fun stuff!
But for now, grab that cup of coffee and enjoy my snowy tablescape!
Wishing everyone a happy day!
Tablescaping has truly become a passion of mine. This year I hoping to publish my first book of tablescapes. Since I live in Germany, the book will be written in german by a friend of mine.
This past week I tackeled the task of putting away all the Christmas Decorations….WOW, what a job and I think, no I know, my Christmas Decoration Collection has expanded has I had to go to Ikea to get more storage boxes(DARN!!!!) Now that the holidays are over I am trying out some new ideas for winter tablescapes.
Here is the first one…….
Wishing you all a happy Sunday Evening….be sure to stop by later this week for my second winter setting.

The Christmas 2016 Season maybe over, but I still have some tablescapes to share with you. This one was co-created with my son Mike. He is our up and coming cinematographer and has a great eye for color. This whole tablescape began with a Santa Hat as the centerpiece… my son suggested some black bulbs and well to make a long story short….my santa table turned into a Mickey Mouse Table! And may I say we all were truly happy with the outcome.
Wishing you all a happy week…..

Happy Holidays from Cook Bake Love……..
the christmas cards are written, the gifts are wrapped, the tree is trimmed and the cookies are baked. Time to get creative with my Christmas Holiday Tablescapes 2016.
Last year in December I was in Illinois and of course a trip to HOme Goods was on my schedule. I found a Christmas Tablecloth with matching napkins that I just had to have!
Now we are just waiting for the guests to arrive.
Happy Holidays Everyone.

Halloween 2016 ist upon us? When did that happen? I seriously feel like I just took down the easter decorations.
This tablescape popped into my head when I was at the Metro(german version of Sams Club) and I found the skelton hands…… And you all know me by now….I had to have those..
While putting it all together….I thought to myself some red stemware would be just what the table needed to be TOTALLY COOL….
…hence my dilema when I checked my cabinet and saw that I only have 4 red wine glasses. EBAY CLASSIFIEDS here I come…is what I screamed! AND…success was mine to be had.
Wishing you all a very happy halloween…..The holiday season is now upon us…..anyone up for some Christmas Shopping?
Living in Berlin has its perks………one of them is I get to know a lot of fellow americans, or Expats as one calls them. Over the years I have met some wonderful families and some very special women, who have become some of my closest friends…..The downside is that Expats are here on borrowed time…usually 3 years. So, in the past 15 years I have said good bye ALOT! And let me tell you, it does not get easier…..
On June 2nd….it was time for Regina and Mike to pack their bags and leave Berlin. As I write they are on the first leg of their great travel adventure……hence the inspiration for the tablescape.
Wishing my friends Regina and Mike safe travels……….
