When I work on a blog post, I always start with the title…and this time it took me awhile. I have even changed the title, what seems like a thousand times while writing. I just can not find the right one. My first title was a GUESTLESS THANKSGIVING. As next week it is THanksgiving… Corona can take away my guests, but cannot strike the holiday completely from the calender. But when I saw those words in the title area, it just did not seem to set the right mood for this post. I am going to spare you the other titles my brain came up with and just say, that my family and I are thankful to be heathly and even though this year is definetly not turning out the way we planned, we are confident that by spending the 2020 Holiday Season at home as family that we are doing our part to flatten the curve.
lampions…. my girlfriend Petra sent me a whole bunch, as my garden refuses to grow this plant!
the wine glasses from my mom were the perfect fit
the dishes belonged to my husbands grandmother!
The branch in the middle is from a haselnut tree. Now granted it is a small branch, but my tree is still young.
