This Thursday I would like to share with you a tablescape I did years ago….. a TBT Tablescape if you will. (THis was yet again a crazy week and I did not have a chance to create a new tablescape)
It is not secret, that I love mexican food, and since that is hard to find here in Germany, I find myself in the kitchen, cooking a mexican feast from scratch. (which by the way taste a lot better than anything store bought). So, if I am going to spend all that time in the kitchen cooking, I am going to want a beautifully set table…….
The charger plates were bought at Karstadt and the dinner plates were bought at Ikea
I used a mexican blanket as a tablecloth….(I picked it up on a mex vacation)
my fruit is paper mache´and come all the way from Cozumel!
The marble candle stick holders also come from Cozumel
my salt and pepper shakers are actually plastic shot glasses aimed to look like a catus
the green cloth napkins come from Butlers
and the hat? Well, that comes off of a tequila bottle!!!
Happy THursday Everyone…… be sure to stop by Between Naps on the Porch for more great tablescapes and if you are not busy on Sunday, stop by again when we celebrate “New Recipe Sunday” here at the SupperTableTalk
